Which size should I select?

We recommend measuring your or your little ones neck/ankle/wrist with a string to ensure the greatest fit! Since everyone is a different size at various stages in life, it is the best way to determine which length will be the best!
*You ONLY want to be able to fit two fingers underneath the necklace when it’s on the babe, that's a good fit! However, you do not want them to be able to pull it up and over their chin.

How and where are you products made?

CanyonLeaf is proud to work with artisans in Lithuania that have been in the amber bead trade for generations. Some select styles are made there, while most of our collection is handmade here by the Sea in Key West, Florida 🌴

Each piece is hand-strung with love, using 100% genuine Amber and gemstones. We use organic cotton blend in the necklaces and children's bracelets and clear gum stretch cord in the adult bracelets. 

All of our handmade jewelry is designed to break away under 10lbs of pressure and will snap at the clasp when you (or your child) tug on it. We use the classic screw clasp as it is the highest quality clasp and will last for years and years when cared for properly. 

What is best for teething?

We would definitely recommend a raw Baltic amber necklace for teething. It’s helpful for all aches and pains. The raw amber necklace is especially helpful as it offers the most coverage of amber and closest to the source of pain. 

How do I care for my amber jewelry and can it get wet?

You would care for Amber just as you would your skin.  It can be worn all the time and in the shower, in the sea and while swimming. We do recommend that you remove the jewelry if you’re going to be swimming in a chlorinated pool as the chemicals that can be rather harsh on your skin will have the same affects on the jewelry. However, it can be worn with other metals and as long as the soaps are natural there shouldn’t be any problems with it coming in contact with the jewelry.

What is best for colic, eczema and other acid related issues?

Hazelwood is always recommend for gas relief and for treating many ailments. Hazelwood acts to balance the body’s pH levels – turning acidic pH levels into alkaline levels? The way it works is the hazelwood actually absorbs the extra acid and while it does, the wood gradually turns a darker brown color. In order for the body to be at it’s best healing level, it should be slightly more alkaline. When your body is higher in acidic pH, you are susceptible to more illnesses and pains. By helping it be more alkaline, it is better able to filter out toxins and help the immune system combat any illnesses.

What style is best for me?

There are various colors available in each style, so it's just finding the piece that speaks to you! We offer four shades of baltic amber; butterscotch, honey, cognac and black. Each Bead style is a little different, which is why the price will fluctuate from style to style.  However, all of our jewelry is handmade with 100% Genuine Baltic Sea Amber and gemstones, all created over time and carefully crafted to be as unique as you!

Do you take custom orders?

We are not accepting requests for customs at this time. We have several styles available and hope you’re able to find a special piece that stands out to you. 

Do you have a waitlist for out of stock items?

Yes! Please visit the product page of the item that you would like and leave your email address in the box that says "Out Of Stock! We will notify you when this product becomes available." This way you will automatically be notified via email when the product is restocked.

What happens if my jewelry breaks?

Broken Clasp?  Oh, no!  It’s time to turn it into something new! Since our jewelry is designed to snap under pressure (as a safety precaution) and is handmade with delicate amber beads, we strongly encourage you to take extra care when wearing our natural and healing jewelry.

Each piece is carefully curated for each member of your family and the amber beads can be treasured for a lifetime. If you find that the clasp of your jewelry has cracked due to over tightening or from too much pressure being applied to the jewelry itself (which will cause the safety mechanism to be triggered) we would like to remind you that the amber beads are still able to be reused and should be remade into something new!  You can restring the beads onto any type of beading cord that you would like, from stretchy to plain cotton, taking the jewelry apart and remaking it into something you can wear again! A truly unique and beautiful thing......

Restringing was once a service we provided (at a fee, for the time involved) however due to recent events in the world and the global pandemic that has altered the way in which we safely do business, we will no longer be offering this service on any jewelry that has been worn.

What is a pre-order?

We create our pieces based on demand. A Preorder allows you to order your specific size and style without having to compete with other customers for a limited amount of inventory. The difference between a Preorder and Restock is that with the first we make product to order, and with the second we make inventory and replenish it on our site as needed.

When will I receive my order?

Please note that it typically takes us 2-10 business days to ship your order if your items are in stock. Please allow USPS or UPS an additional 3-7 business days for delivery after we ship your order.
You will receive an automated email with your shipping information and a tracking number, you can track your package as it moves through the shipper’s system. 

What if my tracking information doesn't update or is incorrect?

Please contact the USPS or UPS if an item is marked as delivered and you have not received it or if you are not seeing an update after 2 days; they will be able to provide you with more information as to where it is or where it was placed at the time of delivery.  We are not responsible for your order once it has been marked delivered by the mail carrier. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.  You can select from USPS International or UPS Worldwide at checkout.
